Our Story

The Pott Belly Shop began in 1978 in the heart of Ramona with Dennis and Toni—a hardworking couple with big dreams and a strong work ethic. Dennis, a skilled mason by trade, found himself doing more and more chimney work on the job. Before long, he was taking on chimney sweeps in his spare time, discovering a knack for it and a growing demand in the community. With Toni by his side—waitressing during the day and cheering him on always—they took a leap of faith and started their own small chimney business.

What began as a one-man operation quickly grew, fueled by Dennis’s craftsmanship and Toni’s unwavering support. Over the years, their dedication and love for what they do built not just a shop, but a trusted name in Ramona. Today, The Pott Belly Shop is a true family-run business, with all three of their children and two of their grandchildren working alongside them. Together, they continue the tradition with the same passion and care that started it all—keeping chimneys clean, homes safe, and family at the heart of everything they do

    Dennis and Toni are the proud owners, bringing years of dedication and a strong sense of family values to the business. Their commitment to creating a welcoming environment is felt by both customers and staff. Outside of work, they enjoy spending quality time with their children, grandchildren, and now great-grandchildren, cherishing every moment and milestone together.

  • Tammy

    A dedicated sales associate known for enthusiasm and strong customer relationships, Tammy brings energy and professionalism to every interaction. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new destinations and has a passion for travel. When not on the road, she often spends time fishing and enjoying the outdoors.

  • Jeff

    Jeff is a skilled sales associate known for his strong work ethic and ability to build lasting relationships with customers. Outside of the sales floor, he’s an excellent chef with a special love for BBQ. When he’s not cooking up something delicious, Jeff enjoys spending time outdoors and going shooting.

  • Dee

    Dee is a dedicated customer service professional known for her friendly approach and commitment to helping others. In her free time, she enjoys thrift shopping and repurposing old items to give them new life. A creative spirit with a big heart for animals, Dee loves spending time with pets and finding unique treasures wherever she goes.
